History toolbar

When the History tab is selected from the entities tabs, the History tab toolbar will load below the entity tabs.

The History tab toolbar features the following buttons:

• Show Connecting Lines
• Refresh Data
• Auto Zoom
• Export to Google Earth
• Clear Entities
• Show/Hide Search
• Number of Locations to Show

 

Show Connecting Lines can be clicked to display connecting lines between the Employee session points, rather than just the points alone.

Refresh Data can be clicked to refresh data from the server.

Auto Zoom can be clicked to automatically zoom the map into all item(s) that are selected from the Sessions grid. For example, when Auto Zoom is engaged, the map will zoom in or out in a manner sufficient to display all of the selected items on your screen at once.

Export to Google Earth can be clicked to export the currently selected sessions to Google Earth. (A "selected session" is one whose checkbox in the Sessions grid has been checked.) When clicked, Google Earth will open and display the selected sessions automatically.

Note: You must separately download and install Google Earth on your computer before using the Export to Google Earth feature.

Clear Entities can be clicked to clear any currently displayed Employee sessions from the map and start fresh.

Show/Hide Search can be clicked to hide or show the Find Historical Sessions search area. Hiding the search area gives you more room to display the search results.

Number of Locations menu allows you to select how many locations to track on the map. The following options are available: 

• Show Entire Session (all tracked locations from this session will be shown)
• Show Last x Locations (where x is the value entered in the "Last Location Positions" field on the User Settings Editor's Map Settings screen)
